## Update 2026-08-01
This blog post is one of the most popular on this site, as indicated by the
anonymized stats ([matomo.bovender.de][]). Since it's now 2 years ago that
I purchased the P14s, I thought I'd give an update -- really only to say
that I am still totally happy with this machine. Currently running Fedora 44
KDE Plasma edition (with KDE Plasma 6.7), it's a very reliable workhorse
that leaves almost nothing to desire. Only sometimes, when developing raw
images with [Darktable] there is a small wish for even better graphics
performance. But then again there's value in slowing down sometimes as well.

{{< figure src="cupholder-caliper.jpg" alt="Becherhalter mit Schublehre" >}}
{{< figure src="caliper-detail.jpg" alt="Schublehre-Detail" >}}
{{< figure src="cup-in-cupholder.jpg" alt="Becher in Becherhalter" >}}
{{< figure src="cup-detail.jpg" alt="Detail des Bechers in Becherhalter" >}}
Schade.
